[Notice] August 20th Update Details

Greetings, Lords around the world.

Let's take a look at the update we have lined up for Aug. 20th (Tue).

※ Please note that you cannot play the game during maintenance.
※ The update details shared below are subject to change during the course of the maintenance.

1. The following heroes will undergo balance adjustments: Bianca (Water), Lucilicca (Earth), Lairei (Light), Solphi (Dark)

2. The following heroes will have their Attack-based Shield improved:

- Charlotte (Water), Nine (Water), Lumie (Dark), Olivia (Fire), Charlotte (Dark), Rosanna (Fire), Nine (Earth), Dragon Knight Helga (Water), Brandt (Dark)

3. Charlotte (Fire) Burst Skill AI has been changed.

- Charlotte (Fire)'s Burst Skill AI has been changed to now act based on Shield AI. She will now use her Burst Skill in Calamity's Cradle even if there are heroes that have not lost any health on her team.

4. Shields for Clerics will be improved.

- Shields will now last for an extra turn if the shielded ally is of the same element.- The above changes will be made to the following heroes: Charlotte (Fire), Mei Ling (Water), Mei Ling (Dark), Baretta (Water), Raligon (Earth), Charlotte (Earth), C.C. (Earth), Syphfride (Light)

5. Focus Defense granted by Clerics will be improved.

- Focus Defense will now last for an extra turn if the buffed ally is of the same element.
- The above changes will be made to the following heroes: Vanessa (Dark), Mei Ling (Dark)

6. The following heroes will now have unlockable Aptitudes:

Olivia (Earth), Schneider (Earth), Fram (Water), Helga (Water), Astrid (Fire), Lucilicca (Fire), Mei Ling (Light), Olivia (Light), Solphi (Dark), Astrid (Dark), Aslan (Dark), Charlotte (Earth)

1 .★5 Rosanna (Light)

- Rosanna (Light) will be added to the Chronicles.
- Rosanna (Light) can be recruited through Featured Summon: Geyser of Daylight.
- Comments for Rosanna (Light) will be added to the Archives.
- Rosanna (Light)'s Relics will be added to the game.

2 .★5 Helga (Light)

- Helga (Light) will be added to the Chronicles.
- Helga (Light) can be recruited through Eternal Contracts and Contract Summon.
- Comments for Helga (Light) will be added to the Archives.
- Helga (Light)'s Relics will be added to the game.

3 .★5 Walther (Fire)

- Walther (Fire) will be added to the Chronicles.
- Walther (Fire) can be recruited through Eternal Contracts and Contract Summon.
- Comments for Walther (Fire) will be added to the Archives.
- Walther (Fire)'s Relics will be added to the game.

- Aslan (Water) will be added to the Chronicles.

1. Featured Summon: 『Geyser of Daylight』

2) Summon details: Players can summon certain ★5 Heroes & Relics.
3) Summonable Relics and Heroes : ★5 Rosanna (Light)

※ Featured Summon consists of the following summon rates: Featured Summon Hero (1%) / Other Heroes (1%) / Divine Relic (25.0000%) / Refined Relic (25.0000%) / Relic (48.0000%)
※ All Featured Summons share the same summon count. This summon count does not overlap or count towards other types of summons.
※ Any Relics & Heroes that are summonable from Featured Summon may be summonable from other summons in the future.
※ If the player has not recruited the featured 5★ Hero within 89 summons, then the player is guaranteed to recruit featured 5★ Hero on the series of summons that includes their 90th.
※ If the player recruits the guaranteed recruit hero before their 90th summon, the summon count will be reset.
※ If the player has 'Featured Summon Tickets', the tickets will be used first before other items. However, if the number of tickets possessed is insufficient to perform all desired summons, the player can use Linkstones to complete the summoning process.

1. Rosanna (Light) - 『 Argonaut』 Summon

※ Featured Relic Summon consists of the following summon rates: Divine Relic (25.0000%) / Refined Relic (25.0000%) / Relic (50.0000%)
※ Featured Relics are summonable based on the following summon rates: Divine Relic (1.2500%) / Refined Relic (1.2500%) / Relic (2.50000%)
※ Other Relics are summonable based on the following summon rates: Divine Relic (0.5278%) / Refined Relic (0.5278%) / Relic (1.0556%)
※ If the player has not obtained the Featured Relic within 9 summons, the player is guaranteed to obtain the Relic on their 10th summon.
※ If the player obtains the featured Relic before their 10th, the summon count will be reset.
※ If the player has 'Featured Relic Summon Tickets', the tickets will be used first before other items. However, if the number of tickets possessed is insufficient to perform all desired summons, the player can use Linkstones to complete the summoning process.

1. Content Revamp: Obelisk

- The Obelisk has now been revamped into the Elemental Obelisk, allowing players to utilize a diverse variety of elements.
- The Elemental Obelisk can be accessed on the World Map by tapping on Story via the citadel.
- The Elemental Obelisk consists of five towers, each featuring a different element that opens on different days of the week.  

- Players can use Sigils of Bravery to challenge the Elemental Obelisk up to 3 times per day. Sigils of Bravery will recharge daily at 15:00 (UTC+0).

- Sigils of Bravery are consumed when a stage has been cleared in the Elemental Obelisk. Players will receive Floor Progress Level Rewards based on the number of used Sigils of Bravery.

- The used Sigils of Bravery counter will reset once the Floor Progress Level Reward has been received. Afterwards, players can obtain further Floor Progress Level Rewards through repeated clears.

- Floor Progress Level Rewards are based on the total number of floors cleared in the Elemental Obelisk, regardless of the floor number or the element of the tower players challenge.

- The Essence Shop has been added to the Elemental Obelisk.

- Players can exchange Elemental Essence in the Essence Shop for various rewards. The Essence Shop resets on the last day of every month at 15:00 (UTC+0).

- The Essence Shop will feature a Special Exchange Shop and an Element Exchange Shop. Players can exchange Elemental Essences for various items in the Element Exchange, and exchange Formless Essences in for various items in the Special Exchange.

- Players can receive Elemental Essences and Formless Elemental Essences by clearing floors in the Elemental Obelisk. Formless Essences can be obtained in towers of any element.

- A 'Filter by Challenge' button has been added to the stage selection screen in the Elemental Obelisk.

- Players can turn on the Filter by Challenge feature to show uncleared stages and stages they have not completed the Gold Challenge on yet. When the filter is turned off, all stages will be displayed as normal.

- The Grand Conquerors leaderboard has been changed to the Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame can be challenged in all towers of any element.

- Rankings in the Hall of Fame are recorded when players clear a stage whilst completing the Gold Challenge. Rankings are based on number of turns taken and maximum damage dealt per entry. Only the top three rankings are displayed for each floor.

※ Recruitment requirements for Solphi (Dark) and Mei Ling (Light) have been adjusted. Instead of having to clear the 25th/50th floor of the Obelisk, you can now recruit these heroes by clearing a total of 25/50 floors across all Elemental Obelisks.
※ Due to the Obelisk being revamped, all existing Sigils of Bravery will be removed after the Aug. 20th (Tue) update. 
※ Sigils of Bravery that have yet to be claimed via the Avillon Event 'Conqueror of the Obelisk' will be automatically converted into Sigils of Bravery and then removed after the update. Please ensure you have used all Sigils of Bravery before the update.
※ Unclaimed Sigils of Bravery in the Mailbox purchased from the Alliance Shop will be converted to an equivalent amount of Alliance Credits. 

2. New Feature: Eternal Contracts

- The following heroes will be added to the game as recruitable Contract Heroes: Walther (Fire), Helga (Light), Aslan (Water) 

- Players will unlock Eternal Contracts after completing all 10 Hero Contracts.
- Players can choose enter a contract with a listed hero. Contracts last for 30 days.

- Players can receive rewards by logging in every day over the duration of the contract. Players will be able to recruit the selected hero on the last day of the contract. 

- Players can contract with heroes they have already recruited. If players enter a contract with heroes they have already recruited, they will obtain the hero's Spiritus Gem or Linktraces on the last day of the contract. Players cannot contract with the same hero consecutively.

- If players do not log in every day during the contract, the contract will be broken and players will have to choose a hero to contract with again.

- In the event where players choose to not continue with the broken contract, they will no longer be able to receive the log-in rewards from the broken contract.

- Players can spend Crystals to renew a broken contract. Renewed contracts continue from the day the contract was broken.

- Players can choose to willfully cancel a contract that is in progress. In such an event, players won't be able to enter a new contract until the next day.

- You can perform alchemy in Contract Hero Grand Alchemy to obtain Artifacts for heroes recruited through the new Eternal Contracts.

3. Nightmare Story Difficulty Adjustment 

- Monsters in the Nightmare difficulty of the Main Story will have their Attack, Health, Defense and Speed reduced.

- Monsters in the Nightmare difficulty of the Main Story will have their Resistance reduced to 60%.

4. New Link Summon Heroes

- Players can now recruit Bianca (Water) via Link Summon.

- Players can select a Hero they would like to recruit when summoning on Link Summon.- Selected Heroes will have a higher chance of being summoned.

※ Heroes summonable via Link Summon will now have unlockable Aptitudes.
※ When summoning on Link Summon, players can select a Hero and Relic they would like to summon.
※ Selected Heroes and their Relics will have a higher chance of being summoned.
※ Summonable heroes on the Link Summon banner may be subject to change, and any changes will be announced in a separate blog post in the case of such an event.
※ Link Summons do not share a summon count with Featured Summons and Contract Summons.
※ If the player has not recruited the Guaranteed Recruit Hero within 89 summons, the player is guaranteed to recruit the Guaranteed Recruit Hero on their 90th summon.
※ If the player recruits the Guaranteed Recruit Hero before their 90th summon, the summon count will be reset.
※ Detailed information on summon rates is available via the Rates button.
※ When players possess Link Summon Tickets, Link Summon Tickets will be used first in priority over Linkstones.

5. New Relics

- New Relics will be available in 'Names of Legends'.
- New Summonable Relics: Miriande (Earth), Alev (Dark), Lumie (Dark), Lairei (Water), Lyn (Light)
- Banner duration: Aug. 20th (Tue) – until further notice.

※ Summoning period may be subject to change and any changes will be announced in a separate blog post.
※ There is no summon count for the 'Names of Legends' Summon.
※ Summons made in the 'Names of Legends' Summon do not count towards the summon count for Featured Summon and Select Summon.
※ The drop rates of each Relic in 'Names of Legends' summon can be found via [Summon > 'Names of Legends' > Rates].

6.New Linkshop Items

The following items will be added to the Linkshop:Relic Chest: Helga (Light), Relic Chest: Aslan (Water), Relic Chest: Walther (Fire)

※ The above Relic Chests can be used to obtain 1 random Relic for the corresponding hero.

7. New Contract Summon Heroes

- Players can now recruit Walther (Fire), Helga (Light), Aslan (Water)  via Contract Summon.

- Party Tickets will disappear from your inventory when the event finishes. Please ensure you use all your Party Tickets before the event ends.

1. Avillon Knight Edition - Lairei (Rerun)

- Lairei's Avillon Knight Edition will be available for purchase again.
- Lairei's Avillon Knight Edition (Normal Costume) will be indefinitely available for purchase in the Outfits Shop. The Limited Costume can be obtained based on certain rates via the Accessories & Limited Outfits Random Draw in the Boutique.

※ 'Avillon Knights' is an outfit item that changes a Hero's overall appearance.
※ Outfit grades are divided into Normal and Limited editions.
※ Limited Edition outfits are defined by their unique coloring in comparison to their Normal counterparts.

※ Artifact Selection Chests are chests that allow you to select an Artifact for a Hero.
※ Artifact Selection Chests can be opened to obtain an Artifact of your choice with your preferred set, part, main property, and skill. Sub-properties of the Artifact will be chosen at random.

1. The Avillon Event 'Conqueror of the Obelisk' will no longer be available after the Aug. 20th (Tue) update due to the Obelisk revamp.

2. A list of rates will be added to the Mystic Shop showing the rates for items that can appear in the Mystic Shop.

3. New voice lines for Helga and Aslan will be added.
