#Earth_Biryu
The Biryus you know are all different. With even the difference between first and second one being as vast as the ocean, one would find it hard to picture the third one's life. However, let it be known that this numbering does not imply hierarchy among them; rather, it denotes a clear distinction. Now, come and lend an ear to the story of the third, who set his foot on the path of transcendence.

One cannot talk about Biryu's life without mentioning the other elects. But not this Biryu. The biggest impact on his life was not left by Seiryu, Suzaku, or Byakko, but by the empress, the ruler of Mir. Some call this Biryu the empress's prized jewel while others call him the empress's puppet. But Biryu doesn't care what monicker people give him. There is but one thing on his mind, to keep his promise with the empress.

Biryu's entire personhood stems from the empress. His favorite food, his favorite song, even his favorite color. Nothing about him is free from the empress's influence. It would not be surprising to think that Biryu might see her as his sister. Indeed, Biryu has been by her side ever since he first started school. However, we can't be sure if the empress sees him in the same way. He is her prized jewel, after all. The empress had kept him hidden for a long time, until she had no other choice but to reveal him to the other elects.

But it would be imprudent to assume that Biryu's loyalty is derived from the empress' benevolence toward him. His life was far from the warmth and beauty of flowers in spring; instead, it was closer to the bleak weariness of a snow-covered flowerbed. His parents had plenty other choices, but still pushed him into the palace. When he barely escaped, they forced him back into the palace again. Rumors say that they vanished after Biryu reached adulthood, but the truth remains shrouded. The only thing that is certain is that the only person he calls his mother is Ryu, his master.

If one attempted to read between the lines, you might have realized why he is staying by the empress, why he is trying to become a transcendental, and why his loyalty lies with solely the empress—and, last but not least, why you are the only person that can understand and accept this Biryu.
