Let's take a look at the update we have lined up for Jul. 22nd (Tue).

1. ★5 Oswald (Water)

- Oswald (Water) will be added to the Chronicles.
- Oswald (Water) can be recruited through Featured Summon - The Fate-born Heart.
- Oswald (Water)'s Relics will be added to the game. Comments for Oswald (Water) will be added to the Archives.

※ Any Relics & Heroes that are summonable from Featured Summon may be summonable from other summons in the future.
※ If the player has not recruited the featured 5★ Hero within 89 summons, then the player is guaranteed to recruit featured 5★ Hero on the series of summons that includes their 90th.
※ If the player recruits the guaranteed recruit hero before their 90th summon, the summon count will be reset.
※ If the player has 'Featured Summon Tickets', the tickets will be used first before other items. However, if the number of tickets possessed is insufficient to perform all desired summons, the player can use Linkstones to complete the summoning process.

1. Oswald (Water) - 『Arondight』 Summon

※ If the player has not obtained the Featured Relic within 9 summons, the player is guaranteed to obtain the Relic on their 10th summon.

1. New Story Update: The Forbidden Tower

"Players will be able to battle through new story content by making use of special abilities granted by The Forbidden Tower."

📌As part of The Forbidden Tower Update, players will be able to enjoy the following special buffs in previous story content stages:
- Increased stats for all heroes in story stages (Normal, Hard, Extreme, Nightmare)
- Buff event duration: After the July update maintenance – Aug. 31st (Sun) 23:59 (Local Time)

- New story content 'The Forbidden Tower' will be added.
- The Forbidden Tower is available after completing Nightmare difficulty.
 ※ All screenshots are works in progress. Content on the live servers may be slightly different from what is shown here. 

- Players can access The Forbidden Tower by tapping on Story on the World Map.

1) Story Release Schedule

- The Forbidden Tower will consist of 3 chapters in total.
- Each chapter will be released on a different date.
 ※ Chapter 1 - Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance
 ※ Chapter 2 - Jul. 29th (Tue) 11:00 (UTC+0)
 ※ Chapter 3 - Aug. 5th (Tue) 11:00 (UTC+0)

2) Field Unit
- Players must assign heroes to a Field Unit to access The Forbidden Tower

- Players can assign up to 30 heroes to a Field Unit. After assignment, players cannot reassign heroes in the Field Unit until the Field Unit is Recalled.
- Heroes who aren't assigned to the Field Unit cannot participate in The Forbidden Tower battles.

3) Stages in The Forbidden Tower

- Players can enter battle in The Forbidden Tower after assigning heroes to a Field Unit.
- A stage that has been cleared once cannot be entered again until a Field Unit is recalled.
- Enemy health is saved in The Forbidden Tower. Players can continue battling from their previous point of progress even after being defeated in battle.
- Heroes who have fallen in battle upon victory or defeat will no longer be able to participate in battle.

- Players can revive fallen heroes by using a Revive Module.
- Upon stage clear, players will obtain a certain amount of points based on a variety of categories.

* Categories that affect point score: Field Unit's Total Combat Rating, Number of Turns Enemy Used, Number of Fallen Heroes, Player Star Rating, Empowerment Level

4) Empowerments

- Empowerments are buffs that apply to all heroes assigned to the Field Unit.
- Players can select one Empowerment when entering a stage.
- Players will be able to select one Empowerment out of three. Different Empowerments appear at different rates.
- Players can use Crystals to swap out the Empowerments up to a maximum of 3 times.
- Players can see a list of attained Empowerments by tapping on the Empowerments button at the bottom of the screen in The Forbidden Tower.

5) Recalling
- Players can use the Recall feature to reset progress for all stages and start from the beginning in The Forbidden Tower at any time.
- Upon Recall, players will obtain a rank based upon the total number of points they have obtained so far, receiving rewards based on this rank.

- Players can see what rank rewards are available for each chapter by tapping on Rank Reward Info in Reward Info of The Forbidden Tower screen.
- All obtained Empowerments will be reset after Recall.
- 1 Recall Hourglass (Normal) or 1 Recall Hourglass (Special) is consumed upon Recall.

- Recall Hourglass (Normal) will be recharged on the 1st of every month at 03:00 (UTC+0). Only 1 Recall Hourglass (Normal) will be recharged at a time.
- Players can obtain Recall Hourglass (Special) through the following methods: Alliance Shop, Events, Paid Packages. There is no limit to the number of Recall Hourglass (Special) players can have at any one time. 

* Recall (Withdrawal)
- Recall (Withdrawal) is a feature usable only before the last stage is cleared of each chapter.
- If players encounter a situation where they can no longer continue to fight, players can use Recall (Withdrawal) to challenge the current chapter once again.

- Upon Recall (Withdrawal), all Empowerments will be reset. However, upon each Recall (Withdrawal), players will incur special Boss Empowerments that become increasingly stronger each time. 

 ※ Players will also incur increasingly heavier point penalties each time Recall (Withdrawal) is used. 

* Recall (Occupation)
- Recall (Occupation) is a feature usable only when the last stage of each chapter is cleared. Recall (Occupation) resets all Empowerments (including Utility Empowerments) and stage progress.

6) Battle Delegation
- Players can use the Battle Delegation feature after they have cleared the last stage of the chapter and use Recall (Occupation) once. Battle Delegation can be used to skip all remaining battles in the chapter in question.
- 1 Delegation Letter will be consumed for each stage when using Battle Delegation.
- Players will receive points for the skipped stage based on their highest attained rank when using Battle Delegation
- Delegation Letters can be obtained through the following methods: Alliance Shop, Events, Paid Packages.

2. Archive Story Additions

- The stories The Forbidden Tower and Summer Treasure Hunt 2025 will now be accessible in the Archives.

3. New Accolades

- The Following Accolades will be added: Nightmare Clear, The Forbidden Tower Clear

4. Accessories Revamp

- Players will now be able to equip multiple accessories for the same part.
- Accessory slots have been expanded to allow for players to equip up to 4 Accessories. 
- Players can now choose whether to display their accessories or not.

5. New Link Summon Heroes

- Players can now recruit the wandering Krom (Dark) via Link Summon.
- Players can select a hero they would like to recruit when summoning on Link Summon.- Selected hero will have a higher chance of being summoned.

※ Heroes summonable via Link Summon will now have unlockable Aptitudes.
※ When summoning on Link Summon, players can select a Hero and Relic they would like to summon.
※ Selected Heroes and their Relics will have a higher chance of being summoned.
※ Summonable heroes on the Link Summon banner may be subject to change, and any changes will be announced in a separate blog post in the case of such an event.
※ Link Summons do not share a summon count with Featured Summons and Contract Summons.
※ If the player has not recruited the Guaranteed Recruit Hero within 89 summons, the player is guaranteed to recruit the Guaranteed Recruit Hero on their 90th summon.
※ If the player recruits the Guaranteed Recruit Hero before their 90th summon, the summon count will be reset.
※ Detailed information on summon rates is available via the Rates button.
※ When players possess Link Summon Tickets, Link Summon Tickets will be used first in priority over Linkstones.

6. New Relics

1) New Relics will be available in 'Names of Legends'.
- New Summonable Relics: Scalene (Dark), Charles III (Earth), Baretta (Light)
-Summon duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – until further notice.

※ Summoning period may be subject to change and any changes will be announced in a separate blog post.
※ There is no summon count for the 'Names of Legends' Summon.
※ Summons made in the 'Names of Legends' Summon do not count towards the summon count for Featured Summon and Select Summon.
※ The drop rates of each Relic in 'Names of Legends' summon can be found via [Summon > 'Names of Legends' > Rates].

7. Unity Plaza Featured NPC Changes

- The featured guards in Unity Plaza have been changed.
- East: Oswald, Natalie / West: Mu, Rouin
※ All new guards will be featured in all Unity Plazas and will stay as featured guards until further notice.

8. New Accessories

- The following number of exclusive accessories will be added for Oswald (1), Natalie (1).

1. Countdown Event - Summer Memories

- Event duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – Aug. 19th (Tue) 02:59 (UTC+0)

- Log in during the event to get various rewards.
- New rewards will be revealed every day when logging in after 03:00 (UTC+0)

2. Summer Treasure Hunt Event 2025

- Event duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – Aug. 12th (Tue) 02:59 (UTC+0)

"Go treasure hunting with heroes using Exploration Permits! Each hero has a special treasure 💎 unique to them. Test your luck and discover them all!"

- Players will be able to access the Summer Treasure Hunt by clicking on the banner in the lobby.
- Players can use Summer Exploration Permits by tapping the Explore button, allowing players to begin treasure hunting with a designated hero.
- Summer Exploration Permits is the currency used in the Summer Treasure Event. SummerExploration Permits can be obtained in the Summer Memories Event Dungeon.

- Heroes that will accompany you on your current treasure hunt exploration will have CURRENT displayed on their icons.

- CURRENT heroes will automatically switch to the hero with NEXT displayed on their icon every hour. Players can use 50 Crystals to manually switch heroes before the auto switch.

- When players click the Explore button, they will go on a treasure hunt with the current main hero (Oswald or Natalie) and a partner hero they can explore with. Players will be able to encounter Episodes featuring the partner hero and obtain rewards through this feature.

- Episodes will not be replayed once encountered. Encountered Episodes can be reread in the Event Story tab of the Episodes menu in the Archives.
- Players will be able to receive exploration rewards after conversing with encountered heroes. Players can also hit the jackpot and run into a Jackpot Encounter.
- Players can receive greater exploration rewards through Jackpot Encounters.

- Players will be able to increase their progression for a hero after every Episode they encounter. After players reach 100% progression, they can tap on the button to receive a Random Accessory Box for the hero.

- Below is the list of items available in the Random Accessory Boxes.

- Players can go on a maximum of 30 Explorations at one time when using the Explore (Consecutive) feature.
- The Explore (Consecutive) feature unlocks when the Exploration Hero's episode progress reaches 100%.
- Players can view the list of rewards and drop rates for the rewards obtainable from Exploration in the drop rates menu accessible via the Treasure Hunt event screen.
- Used currency cannot be restored. Please make sure you double check before using currency in the event.
※ Summer Exploration Permits are usable in the Summer Treasure Hunt Event. Remaining Summer Exploration Permits are automatically converted to Gold and sent to your Mailbox when the event ends.

- After a certain amount of time passes after the Summer Treasure Hunt event begins, an extra Secret Hero who can join players on the treasure hunt will appear. 
- The Secret Hero will join you on the treasure hunt when you have collected all episodes for all heroes. 

3. Summer Memories Event

- Event duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – Aug. 12th (Tue) 02:59 (UTC+0)

"The summer fun has just begun! Avoid the disruptors, build your fantastic sandcastle, and earn Summer Exploration Permits!

- Complete missions and get Summer Exploration Permits!
- Summer Exploration Permits can be used in the Summer Treasure Hunt Event accessible in the main lobby.
- Event buffs do not apply to Event content.
- Mystic Beasts cannot be encountered, and Regional Specialties cannot be obtained in the Event dungeon.

4. Limited Outfit Reruns

- Event duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – Aug. 19th (Tue) 02:59 (UTC+0)
- Limited Outfits for the following heroes will be rerun: Lyn, Lumie, Bianca, Ricardo, Baretta, Aslan

- Players will be able to purchase Limited Outfits for certain heroes in the Designer's Closet during the event.
- Players can use 50 Outfit Tickets to purchase a Limited Outfit.

5. Unity Plaza: Summer Vacation!

- Unity Plaza will be decorated with a Summer theme for the Summer Vacation party!
- Beat the heat and cool off in the summer-themed Unity Plaza this summer! ☀️🌊
- Event duration: Jul. 22nd (Tue) after maintenance – Sep. 1st (Mon) 02:59 (UTC+0)

1. New Outfits: Oswald & Natalie's Summer Collection

※ Summer Collection is an outfit item that changes a Hero's overall appearance. 
※ Players can purchase Normal Edition outfits in the Boutique using Temporal Threads.

1. The following items will be added to the Alliance Shop: 
- Recall Hourglass (Special) (purchasable once per month)
 - Delegation Letter x5 (purchasable 5 times per month)

2. The number of times players can make accessories in the Boutique has been changed.
- Birthday Accessory Crafting: 5 times > 10 times
- Accessory Wish List Crafting: 10 times/month > 30 times/month

3. Cutscenes will now be replayable in the Archives

4. The icon for Spiritus Gems has been changed.

5. Portraits for certain heroes in the Archive Comments have been changed.

6. An issue where the image for Laphlaes (Dark)'s Refined Relic 'Akashic Blitz: Heaven's Judgement' has been appearing incorrectly.

7. An issue where the animation when the dragon switches phases in Temporal Rift plays incorrectly has been fixed.

8. An issue where the Recruitment Type button on the Filter in the Chronicles displays only in Korean has been fixed.
