#Light_Krom

Arrogant, haughty, and insufferably proud.

This is how most who know this Krom would describe him. This may surprise you. After all, the Krom you know likely stands far from such a description. Yet one cannot simply condemn him without understanding why he sought to cross the Eternal Gate and open another world.

When most nobles of Rhodon rebelled against the royal family, only the Ledios household remained loyal to the Blue Rose. This proved fortunate for Krom, who had served as the prince's companion since childhood. After the bloodshed subsided, both boys closed their hearts to the world. Charles had lost his loving father, while Krom attended the funerals of his entire family, save himself.

Krom was the first to rise again. He placed the grieving prince on the throne and closely safeguarded the rightful Blue Rose. Among his kind acts was adopting a child, who lost her family in the rebellion, into the house of Ledios. However, every story has multiple perspectives. For Charles, he felt pushed onto the throne. And Zaira saw her adoption into the house of Ledios as against her will. Still, in many ways, Krom's actions were seen as "good".

His turn toward a new world was a natural process. He did not want to sit on the throne yet desired the powers of royalty. He had no particular wish to form a family yet longed for a sense of belonging. Amidst this, there was one particular person who suddenly appeared in front of Krom, whispering promises of creating this new world he imagined. That said, Krom's shift in thinking does not lie solely with them.

Still, some will not withdraw their initial judgment on Krom's actions. Krom indeed revived Rhodon from political devastation and opened a new world, which he deemed to be the 'correct' world. Yet he undeniably oppressed many through ruthless methods and opened said gate in what many deem to be terrifyingly coldblooded. Still, Krom remains indifferent to what people think of him. What does it matter if he is arrogant, haughty, and insufferably proud? To someone, he remains a brave, wise, and incomparably kind friend.

So, ask yourself.

What kind of person is your Krom?
