Greetings, Lords around the world.
I am Siro, the new director of Lord of Heroes.

It's been a long year packed with highs and lows. As we say goodbye to 2023, I'm eager to see what awaits us in 2024.

How did 2023 treat you? Do you have any aspirations for the coming year?

I hope the approaching new year brings you even more joy and exciting experiences, particularly within the world of Lord of Heroes.

You might be curious about what the dev team is preparing for 2024.
So without further ado, here are some of the things we're working on for next year.

1. Improving Linkstone Accessibility

We are aware that many Lords find it challenging to acquire Linkstones. With that in mind, we are currently working on various content aimed at enhancing the quantity of Linkstones you can obtain from gameplay and introducing additional methods to acquire them.

- Check-In Feature
Currently, in Lord of Heroes, the '28-Day Journey' Check-In feature becomes available only after completing all 10th Hero Contracts.

Because of this, it takes approximately a year for the Check-In feature to become available for new Lords.

Not only will we be revamping the Check-In feature to make it accessible to all Lords, but we will also be improving it to offer a variety of helpful and meaningful rewards.

- Citadel Missions
Next up is a new feature called 'Citadel Missions'.

Many of you would have been receiving passive rewards through the Income Statement. However, we believe that many would have found these rewards to be lackluster, both in terms of quantity and quality.

That is why we're relaunching the feature as new content to provide Lords with more meaningful rewards.

Hence comes 'Citadel Missions'.

Unlike the Income Statement feature, Lords can now complete missions through gameplay and receive even more useful rewards, including Linkstones.

- Leaderboard
We will also be adding another way to earn Linkstones by introducing the 'Leaderboard' feature.

For many Lords steadily progressing toward the endgame, we believe that the rewards based solely on Alliance ranks may not have been satisfactory.

Lords who have been actively participating will have the opportunity to showcase their efforts and achievements, and earn more rewards.

We hope that with all the extra rewards lined up, Lords will be able to experience greater satisfaction when raising their heroes.

You may be concerned that only a select minority will be able to make use of the new Leaderboard feature, but worry not—

we're continuously working on various categories that Lords of all progress levels can participate in. 

And with that, unfortunately, that's all I can share at the moment about the various content that will be introduced to you in 2024.

2) Hero Balancing

As of now, heroes released in the past are seldom used compared to recently released heroes.

To address this issue, we plan to tweak 2 to 4 heroes per month starting in 2024.

Even if it takes a bit of time, we will keep making balance adjustments to ensure that none of your favorite heroes are left behind. Hopefully, this will allow everyone to raise and utilize all of your desired heroes.

3) War of the Tyrants Part III - Book of Truth

Last but not least, the biggest content update of 2024 will be the third book of the War of the Tyrants.

The last chapter of War of the Tyrants, Book of Truth, is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024.

In addition, we are planning to improve the battle system and progression in the new chapter of the War of the Tyrants, allowing more freedom for Lords to utilize various knights to advance through the story. 

As the heroes of the present stand against the calamity to protect the world, those who are yet to be called "heroes" are also moving forward in the past. No one knows how deeply the relationships that will be lost and memories that are forgotten will affect their lives. However rough around the corners and perhaps somewhat trivial their life may be, one thing is for sure—they will never stop living it. I hope you join us as the heroes of the past finally reach the end of their journey.

In addition to what I've already mentioned, we're also planning to revamp the Alliance Raid, introduce new Alliance content, and add new Alliance Raid bosses to enhance the overall Alliance experience.

Writing to you, Lords, is not something I have much experience with, so I hope I have expressed my feelings and thoughts well. Please forgive me if this greeting sounds a bit awkward or clumsy.

Game development is not easy, and it takes a lot of teamwork and effort to make it happen. But we are determined to keep doing our best to thank you for your love and support and to uphold the value of Lord of Heroes that you, Lords, have created.

I'd like to sincerely give thanks to each and every one of you, and I look forward to meeting you again in 2024.
